Heavy thuds crashed on Ade’s door. The knocks became persistent before shouts accompanied it.

“Mr. Ade. Open the door. Open it now!” A shrill voice ordered him.

Ade rolled to the different sides of his bed, leaving a trace of drool at each turn. He paused, hoping the disturbance would go away without his interference.

“Mr. Ade. Are you still sleeping? Wake up, oh.” Another voice announced. It sounded too familiar to ignore.

Ade heaved a sigh of despair. “Why is Oma here today again?” He murmured. And with the enthusiasm of a sloth, he moved out of the bedroom. He continuously muttered under his breath as he journeyed to the door. “I’ve told her to stop bringing me breakfast every Saturday. Simply because I carried her load, she keeps leeching on me.”

He opened the door, and shock replaced his previous mood. Huge men in black uniforms staring back at him, then there was five foot’ five Oma gazing at him with a concerned look.

“I-” was all he managed before he was surrounded.

One of them flashed an ID and said, “Mr. Ade Philips, you are under arrest for committing Insider dealing…”

His words rendered Ade momentarily mute. He clutched his chest in horror mixed with confusion.

“…against Pendulum Plc…”

The name caused Ade’s eyes to widen; he chose to interrupt the speaking man. “Bu-but I’m an employee. Infact, show me the proof.” He demanded, believing an error was at play.

“Erm… Mr. Ade…” Oma trailed off, scratching her head. She brought out a phone and handed it to him.

The video playing depicted him in last Friday night attire. Ade was not prepared for the words that he uttered in the video.

“Heyyy guyysssss…guess what?” he slurred. “I’m going to give you all a tiiiiny tip, but shhhhhhhh,” he gestured with his hands on his lips, saliva enjoining them. “Don’t tell anyone you heard it from me, ooohhhh. But, if you know what is good for you, go and empty all your piggy banks and buy shares in Pendulum nowwwww. Don’t say I didn’t tell you, oh, you know I love all my faithful followers.” A smile followed his hiccups. He then blew a large kiss at the camera.

The video ended.

“I-I also bought shares. You know I follow you on the… uh the gram.” Oma interjected. Unbeknownst to her, the statement did little to aid Ade’s innocence.

Ade stood in awe, his polka dot underwear being the least of his worries as he shrieked, “but I was drunk!”
